11/25/13-Week 42 [Week 6 of Transfer 7]

This week has flown by...but also been slow. The anticipation for transfers was awful! It was nerve racking. Sister Corbridge and I stressed all weekend. But here is the news:

I am......staying...again....:) I have been in Huntington for 6 months now..and I will be here for another month and a half at least! Crazy right? I think it is!! I don't know if I will ever leave. I was preparing to leave and everything. But nope! Sister Corbridge is leaving. And I am staying. I guess we will see what happens!

This week we had fun raking leaves! We went to Katelyn and Zackery Lane's house and raked for an hour and a half. And it was THE BEST! I have never legitimately jumped in a pile of leaves...but we got to :) And I got action shots of all of us!! It was great! I love jumping in leaves I have decided. It is tons of fun. And of course, the Lane kids are adorable! Their family is still working to go to the temple next spring! They are hoping for March. Oh man. I am so excited for them! But we have so much fun together.

Let's see... I feel like I don't have a lot to talk about this week. Sorry if it is a short email. 

Joe is still headed for his baptism on November 30th! We are sooo happy! He had his interview yesterday, and it went smoothly. Everything is a go for this saturday! I am really happy that I will be here for it. Sister Corbridge and I feel like we were sent here specifically for him. We were meant to teach him and teach him specifically. It has been wonderful watching him progress in the gospel. And next week, he will be a member! Horray! He even drove us to stake conference this weekend {which by the way was amazing} and then after took us to him Mom's house for lunch to meet her. It was really great! I will have to bring you all back to meet him!!

Stake Conference was really good this weekend! For the adult session, we {the missionaries} did some musical numbers. When it all started, President Sorenson was speaking and in the middle of his talk, the pianist started to play "Called To Serve" And all of the missionaries in the stake walked in from the sides singing it. It was powerful!! Ah. I love being a missionary and representing the Lord Jesus Christ. Then in the middle of the conference we sang "Hark, All Ye Nations" and it was really good. I am starting to realize more and more how special it is to be set apart as a missionary. I have to strive to represent my Savior in all that I do. 

A quick update on the other investigators :) Shelby is doing well! Someone quit again at her job..so Sundays are looking rough again for her.. We are praying really hard that she will find people to take her shifts so that she can come to church! I know that the Lord will provide a way. Wayne accepted a baptismal date of December 21st!!! :D :D We told him to think of it as a gift to Christ for his birthday :) We are really excited for that! Keep them in your prayers. Sherry is progressing again and thinking of Baptism on December 28th! Bah! If all three of them keep following through and working hard, we could have 3 baptisms in a row!! :D It will be a VERY white Christmas! Horray!! I am so excited for all of the work that is happening here. And we have more that are so close to being on date! 

Thank you all for your prayers and support! I really need it. I have had my rough times, and all of the prayers really do lift me up. This church is true. I know it with every feeling of my heart. This is Jesus Christ's church on the earth. We have the authority. We have the fullness. We have all that we need to return back to live with our Father in Heaven. Keep doing the little things. They make all of the difference! I love you all :D

11/18/13-Week 41 [Week 5 of Transfer 7] "Tornado!"

Quick business:

Next week is transfers!! Yes....2 days before Thanksgiving. So I won't know if I will be here in Huntington next week....I will let you know if I am getting transferred in my next email! But it will be 2 weeks until you know my address. So if you have anything to send either send it realllly soon! (before next Monday) or just wait until I give you my new address. Thank you muchly!!!!

Okay. So many of you have asked if we died in the Tornado. Okay not really died, but were affected by it. Good news, we are safe and sound!! No big damage. It touched down about 15 miles away from our town. But it did go over head! It was super rainy outside and there was really high winds. There was crazy lightening too. Then the sirens went off outside. [luckily we were home doing our studies] And yes..Sister Corbridge and I went outside and recorded it for a second {come on..we don't see this very often..}. Then we ran inside and grabbed all of our stuff and hauled ourselves into the closet under our stairs. We made some pretty funny videos of us talking about the storm. It was great fun :) Then we sang hymns and the spirit was definitely there to comfort us. I actually had a lot of fun... :D Nothing too crazy happened. We just got to sit in a closet and sing and laugh for about an hour while the storm passed.

Let's see...this week. It has been a long week! I don't really know why. It just seems like it has been forever since I last emailed. But that is okay. We made it through! We had a cool experience with our investigator Wayne this week. We had a lesson about the Plan of Salvation and we talked a lot about baptism and the atonement. It was a really good lesson. Then at the end of the lesson, we asked him if he would kneel with us and say a prayer right there. And he did. It was such a sincere and powerful prayer. The spirit was so strong. We can tell that he really wants to know if it is true. He is in 2 Nephi in the Book of Mormon. He is also reading the Doctrine and Covenants. It is really amazing to see. We gave him a copy of the General Conference talks from this last October on Wednesday and he is already 3/4 of the way done. He says that he loves it! Ah!! We are so excited!

Then Shelby was able to come to church this week! For the first time :) She has been having a rough time getting work off. She comes to all of the Relief Society activities on Thursdays, but couldn't come to church. But this week she came!! It was great! She has in-laws in the ward that she is really close with and they were very supportive. She stayed all 3 hours and really enjoyed it. She is preparing to be baptized on Dec 14th. And it is looking promising this time! We are soooo happy for her!! She knows it is true. She is in 2 Nephi in the Book of Mormon and she prays daily and yeah..she is just great. We love her so much!!

AAANNDD Joe is doing great! We had another lesson with him last night. We taught him a bunch of commandments to get him ready for baptism! We were able to talk to his wife at the Relief Society activity this week and she said that he has never reacted to missionaries this way. She said that he wouldn't really pay attention to the Elders or really commit to do anything that they asked him, but he has been so open and receptive to us! He is reading the scriptures and he knows it is true. Sister Corbridge and I definitely feel that we were meant to come and teach Joe specifically. I feel like he is one of those people that Heavenly Father prepared specifically for us to teach. I am sad that he may get baptized the week after transfers and one of us might miss it. But the most important thing is that he gets baptized and enters into the straight and narrow path. I am so excited for him and his family!! :D 

Other than that, this week has been pretty normal! We had a cool experience with a new investigator we found. We were trying to find a Former investigator, and they weren't home. So as we walked back to our car, I had the prompting to knock on their next-door neighbors home. We did, and there was a very friendly lady who lived there. Her husband died about 4 years ago and since then she has struggled with her faith. We talked with her a bit and we had a really good conversation. We actually sang her "I am a Child of God" on the doorstep and it was really cool. She invited us back for tonight! We are quite excited :) I hope it all goes well!!

Sister Corbridge and I have started to actually sing people songs at the door step when they say that they are not interested. Usually they let us {I have only had 1 say no} and it really opens them up. It is really neat. It was a random but cool revelation.

11/11/13- Week 40 [Week 4 of Transfer 7]

Hello family and friends!

This week has ended with miracles! We were teaching our investigator Joe last night and we had a miracle happen. We started teaching him when a member invited them over to their house for dinner. After sharing the message of the Plan of Salvation with their family, he turned to us and asked us to teach him. When we first started to teach him he told us to not be disappointed if he didn't get baptized. He has been through lots of missionary sets and has been going to the church for 3 years with his wife who is a member. He is pretty much already a Mormon, but hasn't been baptized (a "dry Mormon"). We had talked with him about his concerns with Joseph Smith, authority, the Book of Mormon, and other things. We always had very spiritual lessons. Last night when we went to teach him, we planned to commit him to a baptismal date in December to see if he would make progress. When we started the lesson, he told us that he thought he was ready to get baptized. Both shocked, we tried not to over-react too much. We were very excited and then went on to teach him what baptism was. At the end of the lesson, Sister Corbridge asked him, "where do you see your relationship with Jesus Christ in a month from now?" He looked at us and said, "well, baptized." We both froze and weren't sure what to do. We wanted to jump out of our seats and jump up and down, but we remained as calm as we could. He wanted to be baptized on the 23rd of November, but that is stake conference. And he has his children this weekend and they are not allowed to go to church. So, we talked about things and we committed him to a date of November 30th. It was an amazing experience. The spirit was so strong. None of us, including his wife, thought he would be baptized that soon. We had fasted for him the other week, and Heavenly Father has brought forth miracles!

Also, Wayne came to church this week! We had a total of 6 investigators at chruch! It was incredible :) But we were excited to see him at church. He has really opened up to us recently. He has been kind of quiet since we started to teach him, and we weren't sure how committed he was, but the past few weeks, he has really started to open up to us and we have been able to help him more. He only needs to come to church a few more times, and he could be baptized. We keep praying for him to gain an answer that this church is where he needs to be, but he is hesitant. We hope that he will start to move forward. He is reading the Book of Mormon and starting to come to church! It will only go up from here, right? :)

Random: They are finally putting our road down!! Horray! We have been without a street in front of our house for about month. They would come one day and move a tractor...and then the next blow some leaves...you know. typical construction work...slow. But this morning we heard some loud noises and sure enough, they were putting down the asphalt!! Yay!! We were pretty excited. We are easily entertained....

We are teaching a cute 10 year old girl named Daisy and her sister Allison. This past week we taught them about the Restoration and they really like it. Daisy thinks a lot for her age. She thinks very deeply and has a lot of questions and comments. She pretty much told us the story of Joseph Smith before we even told her. She just figured that since the church was taken off of the earth, that God must have needed to restore it! At the end, we asked her if she would be baptized, and she said yes at first. But then we went into some more detail about the Priesthood authority, and then she said "totally! of course!" It was really cute. I love teaching kids :)

I also went to Cincinnati this week for a leadership council. Which includes waking up at 4:30am and driving for 3.5 hours and sitting in a 7 hour meeting and then driving back for another 3.5 hours. It was...fun!? I am really tired...but hopefully slowly catching up on sleep. I guess as a missionary, you are always tired. But I learned a lot of really cool things about how to be a better missionary! There is a LOT to do. There are so many things I need to change and improve on. But I am taking it one lesson at a time. Otherwise, I get overwhelmed.

I do love this work! It is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done, but when I see miracles like the one with Joe, it is all worth it!! Sorry my email is shorter this week. But I love you!! Have a marvelous week. A week of miracles! Remember: Obedience brings blessings, but EXACT obedience brings miracles.

11/04/13-Week 39 [Week 3 of Transfer 7] "Maroon"

Hi :)

So the reason why Maroon is the subject is because this week I got a new coat!! And it is Maroon :) I love it! It took me forever to find, but I really like it. Once I got it I realized that I have lots of maroon things. I have a maroon shirt, a maroon cardigan, my scriptures are maroon....lots. But that is okay! People say that blondes look good with maroon...:) Anyways......

We are still working as hard as we can to find new investigators and help people come unto Christ. We had a miracle yesterday! Sister Corbridge was on an exchange the other week and tracted into a girl named Lavon. She told us to come back another time when her husband would be home. We came back, and she rescheduled because he wasn't there. This happened for a couple of weeks. We started to feel as if she was not really interested but didn't now how to tell us. But we had another appointment yesterday and we were going to give it one last try. I honestly thought that no one would be there, but when we knocked, she came to the door and welcomed us right in. We had an amazing lesson with them. The spirit was so strong and they really have a desire to change. We are going to start teaching their 2 children next week also. They said yes to being baptized and are excited to read the Book of Mormon. It was just amazing! We were kind of in shock. 

Then we had a lesson on the Book of Mormon with another one of our investigators, Joe. He is a non-member husband who is pretty much active in the church. He has been taught by a few missionaries, but hasn't even reached baptism. The lessons we have had with him have always been very powerful, but last week we thought he had alluded to being finished with the lessons. But we showed up this week anyways. We wanted to show him how he could gain revelation through the Book of Mormon. So we had him think of a question, and we prayed and opened the Book of Mormon and started reading. And he said that God answered his questions. But the surprising part was that he told us that his questions was "Why was I investigating the church harder this time?" We were both surprised to hear that, but very excited too. He told us that he does want us to continue teaching him. We know the miracles are happening here!

Happy Halloween!

I hear that you saw me and Sister Corbridge's halloween costume. We were matching :) It was fun. That is the best you can do as a missionary. But on Halloween they had us go in at 6:30pm and watch a talk about faith. It was really good. But funny story..the next morning when Sister Corbridge and I went to walk outside after excising to get some fresh air, our keys were in the door handle....just sitting there. They had been there all night...on Halloween. We are so lucky that no one stole our keys..let alone our car..or broke in. Heavenly Father definitely protected us!! 

We have a cute investigator, Janette who is planning to get baptized on the 16th. She is so excited! She is getting all of the Young Women involved and has decided a lot of her program already. The final thing is if her parents actually sign the baptismal form. They have verbally said "yes" but the real test is if they will sign the papers. Say extra prayers that their hearts will be open!! I know that if it her time, Heavenly Father will prepare a way. She is so sweet and loves the church. We are really excited for her!

Other than that this week has been good! I had a cold the beginning of the week, but I was taken care of :) Sister Peacock [the stake RS President] brought me over some chicken noodle soup, and I was able to rest all day. I literally slept....all....day....it was great! I am taking vitamins and feeling just fine.

Well, I have to get going. I love you all!! Thank you for your love and prayers! I can feel them strengthening me every single day. The Lord is helping me and lifting me up. I couldn't do this work without him and without you. I love you all!!!! :D :D

10.28.13-Week 38 [Week 2 of Transfer 7] "Primary!"

Hi everyone!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!

I think that is a pretty cool exclaimation point/I thing. Annnnnnnyways.. the reason why Primary is the topic for this week is because the Primary program was yesterday!!! It was my favorite :) And the best of all was that our cute little recent converts, Katelyn and Zackery, sang in it! As they started to sing "Families Can Be Together Forever," Sister Corbridge and I started to cry. Because they really can! Now their family can go to the temple and get sealed..forever. Their parents went to do Baptisms for the Dead this past Friday and they were just beaming on Sunday. They absolutely loved it! Their family can go to the temple as soon as January! Bah!! I am just so excited and happy for them! 

Alllso, Sister Corbrige and I went into the primary yesterday and taught them about missionary work. And they are just so cute! I miss kids so much. We had a funny object lesson with starbursts and they had a lot of fun. It was so adorable. When we walked in they all whispered "Huh!! It's the missionaries!!" "Missionaries!" It was soooo cute! Oh man. I just can't handle it. Little kids are too adorable. 

But, back to the temple. Saranna was able to go for the first time. I was talking to the Young Women's president yesterday and she said that when she walked in and saw the font, she gasped and covered her mouth with her hand. She got teary-eyed because of the beauty and the spirit. I guess being a member of the church, I never really realized the beauty of the temple. But with her 'baby' spiritual eyes, it was absolutely amazing to her. I wish I could have been there with her. But it was amazing for her. Her mom said that night she came home and just talked and talked and talked about it. Oh man, it makes me soooo happy!! :D :D

We have 2 people on date for November 16th. First is Shelby and the second is Janette. We are so excited! I think I have really told you all about both of them, but they are very excited! Shelby should be able to come to church, now that they have a pet groomer at the dog kennel she works at. And Janette is going to talk with her parents about getting baptized. We are so excited! Although it felt like we didn't have many people moving forward recently, Heavenly Father is blessing us with miracles beyond belief!! There are so many people who are being prepared to hear and accept the gospel! I just love this work.

This week, we found a couple more part-member families to teach. There are 2 sons of a less-active who is coming back to church that we are going to start teaching this week! And a future daughter-in-law of another less-active we are going to start teaching. Heavenly Father just keeps plopping them into our laps!! It is INCREDIBLE! He is just too amazing. I am soo grateful that He is in charge of this work, because I couldn't do anything without Him!!

I had another cool study this week! We had an investigator bring up a concern about Joseph Smith. He was concerned about how much people talk about him. He feels like we put him above Jesus Christ by how much we mention him. He shared that concern with us, and we could tell that it was something that he hasn't shared with many people. So, we went home and prayed all night. The next morning, I started my personal study with a prayer asking Heavenly Father to lead me to an answer for him. And as I studied, Heavenly Father led me to D&C 135:3. It talks about how important Joseph Smith was and is. He has done more, except Jesus Christ, for the salvation of man than any other person who has lived on this earth. That is why we talk about him so much!! He is super important!! He has done more than any other imperfect-mortal man. [obviously we know that Jesus Christ did a million-times more than Joseph Smith] but it was incredible to have Heavenly Father answer my questions and concerns. And I know that He can do that for you. Any question or concern that you have, go to Him in sincere prayer, and then search. He will lead you by His spirit. 

I just love this gospel! I know that it is true. It is the only church that can make Terrestrial men Celestial. Families can be together forever. God loves us and watches over us. Never doubt His ability and power. He can do all things, but it is conditional upon your faith and your asking.

10/21/13-Week 37 [Week 1 of Transfer 7] "Apples"

HI :D

This week has been a really rough week for Sister Corbridge and I. We have been really stressed and just feeling overwhelmed. We have been scared to be outside at night after the car incident. It has been difficult for us. But we are just trying to hold onto the hope that this week will be full of miracles. Because the witness of our faith comes only after the trail of our faith. We will see miracles this week! 

We were really sad to find out our investigator, Sherry, won't be getting baptized. She is not ready to move out from her boyfriend's house. She is staying with him during the week up in Fort Wayne to go to school, and says she doesn't have enough money for gas if she moved in full-time with her mom in Huntington. We really have been wanting to talk to her, but she just stopped everything. We wanted to talk with her personally, (because we found out from a text from her mom) but she has been avoiding us. Hopefully we will be able to make contact with her and help her continue her path and have more faith. Continue to keep her in your prayers!

We do have another investigator, Shelby, who has a baptismal date on November 16th! She has been wanting to get baptized for a while, but has had trouble getting to church. Right when she was about to start coming, the employee who worked on Sundays quit, so she had to take her place. But they just found a new one, so she should be able to come for the next several weeks. We were very excited! She is reading the Book of Mormon and feeling the spirit. She knows it is true! It is really exciting. We love her so much!

There is some exciting news about the Katelyn and Zachery who were baptized 3 weeks ago! Their family can go to the temple and get sealed in 3-4 months! Their parents are going to the temple this weekend to do baptisms and then are going to start taking temple-prep classes. We found out this past week and we are so excited for them! They are still coming to church every week and staying strong. 

Apple Smashing

So fun stuff from this week: On Friday, we went to the Johnson's (Part-Member family) house for a fall cook-out thing for a little bit. And we did some fun stuff! We sat around the fire (so relaxing!!), had chili, shared funny stories, smashed apples, played corn hole...ya know...the fun stuff! But! Have you ever heard of apple smashing?? Well, this is how you do it. You get a bunch of apples and some tennis rackets...and you pretty much play baseball with them! They explode all over with apple chunks. It is so fun! Sister Corbridge and I were having a blast with them. We were laughing quite hard. [pictures are attached]

 I love the Johnson's. We are still teaching Brother Johnson. He calls himself a "dry Mormon" because he is not baptized yet...but he said he most likely won't get baptized!! What??! yes he will. We will get him :) haah. 

We had a miracle on Friday night! We were out and it was dark. We have been really nervous in the dark since Monday morning, but we know we have to be obedient to the rules. So we were driving around trying less-actives and people, but no one was home. And we always just felt eerie. We had about 10 minutes left, and we didn't know where to go. I had the thought to stop by Sister Bair's house. We pulled up, and I just felt peaceful. We said a prayer and headed to the door. When Sister Bair came to the door, we could see that she had some tears in her eyes. But she looked relieved to see us. She opened the door and let us right in. She grabbed my hand and squeezed it. We came into the kitchen and we saw Brother Bair (who has just started investigating himself after a good 20 years) with a Bible and Book of Mormon just crying. We sat down and she said "He sends them when we need help." (referring to Heavenly Father). We weren't sure what had all happened, but he started to talk with us. Elder Day was the last Elder here and they got double transferred out last week. He was having a really hard time having him leave. Elder Day was one of the only missionaries to really touch his heart. He had questions about the Book of Mormon and different things like that. We talked with him and tried to comfort him. We answered some of his questions. It was an amazing experience. We were an answer to their prayers. Sister Bair was having a hard time explaining things, and Heavenly Father sent us to help. I just love being an instrument in Heavenly Father's hands. It is the most rewarding experience! Oh man. I just love this gospel! I love being a missionary! It is full of ups and downs, but I know this is where I am meant to be! 

Keep being obedient and faithful to the Lord. All things will work out! I love you all!! :D And I know that our Savior and Heavenly Father do as well. I will see you soon!! (I made it half way..just 9 more months! crazy.)

Beginning of Fall in Indiana

10/14/13-Week 36 [Week 6 of Transfer 6] "CARS!"

Hi there!

Oh...today. It has been..adventurous! I just have to say that I am lucky to be alive. You see, this morning Sister Corbridge and I were out walking/running (like we are required to) and a car tried to run us over....
We were walking down a main road and crossing down a side road and there was this car coming straight on the main road. We looked at it and it was going straight, and had no blinker on or indication of slowing down. So, we started to cross the street. Right at that moment, the car turned it's wheel and pushed on the gas to speed up and headed right for us. Sister Corbridge screamed and yelled "we're gonna get hit!" and she jumped out of the way. I yelped and ran back towards the sidewalk, and the car chased after me. I ran as fast as I could. I kept waiting for it to hit my back, but it never did. I finally dodged out of the way, and the car went onto the sidewalk and almost hit a light pole. I will just say that I saw my life flash before my eyes. I thought I was going to get smooshed. The car backed up and they drove down the street without saying anything. Then we see it come back down the main street where we were walking, and it honked at us...but we weren't sure if it was the same car, so we just kept walking quickly back to our apartment. Then a few minutes later, we see it come back the other way. Sister Corbridge and I froze. She said, if he turns, we are running! And sure enough, he turns and starts to flip around. So we book it down an alley way. I felt like mission impossible!! We were running down alley ways, across back yards and hiding behind trees and houses.....adrenaline rush!! I have never been so scared in my life. But we kept going and running back to our apartment. We made it safely home. It was so scary. I honestly feel like Heavenly Father lifted me up or pushed back the car. It was the craziest experience of my life. I am grateful to be protected by Him!! 

THEN as Sister Corbridge and I came to email you all, we locked our keys and phone in the family history center in our church building. We propped open the door, and started to walk towards the restroom. We heard the slow creaking noise of the door coming to a close and it was like slow motion "noooooooooooooo.....!!!" and it shut. We were stranded. Our keys and phone were inside. So, we ran..well, walked...around the church building searching for any phone numbers. We finally found a sign-up sheet with the Kewish's number on it and called them from the phones in the church building. We got the Elders' number and pleaded with them to come and open the door.....50 minutes later we finally got back into the room. Hallelujah! Let's just say it has been a crazy day!!! (right as I wrote this the phone rang again in the church building...creepy. I feel like I'm in a horror movie).

Anyways!!! That has been our crazy day so far. This week has been full of miracles and lots of trials. There have been some challenges with Sister Corbridge with things back home, but she has been so strong! We have laughed our way through the week and have tried to keep our heads up, even when we could have easily given up. But Heavenly Father loves us and helped us along the way. We had a really amazing lesson with our new investigator, Joe. He is the husband of an active member and practically a dry mormon. We had a lesson with him the other week when we had dinner with the Weights, and it was an AMAZING lesson. The spirit was so strong! It was unbelievable. Then we had a lesson with him yesterday. We asked him why he specifically wanted us to teach him the lessons (since he had been taught in the past) and he told us that when we were teaching, we answered the questions that he had without him even asking. He said that he really connected with us and felt the spirit very strongly. It was incredible. We had a lesson with him last night on the restoration and during the part of Joseph Smith's first vision, everyone in the room was in tears. It was amazing. The spirit was SO strong. I loved it!!!! He says that he knows Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. Oh man! So wonderful :) :) :D

Then! Sherry will be getting baptized on October 26th! Keep her in your prayers. She was sick yesterday, and couldn't make it to church. But she knows that the church is true. She reads the Book of Mormon when she gets stressed and has noticed that it helps her feel calm. She is already living the Word of Wisdom before we even taught it to her! It is crazy! She is amazing. 

This week we also met Ann. And she has a pet squirrel!! How crazy is that?! We saw her outside standing by her tree and talking to it, we walked up and this squirrel was there. It climbed on her shoulder and crawled up and down her back. It was insane! I had never seen a squirrel that close before. She raised it from when it was just a baby..she even fed it every 3 hours. Anyways, she is amazing, and we plan on teaching her more about the restoration. She is really interested and has a very open heart and mind. 

We had 2 exchanges this week. One in Peru, Indiana and one in Fort Wayne, Indiana. So great! I worked with Sister Crosby and Sister Widdison. They are amazing sisters! I love being able to work with so many sisters and help them to lean more about what they can do and become. :) I learn more from them than they learn from me half of the time. I am definitely being stretched and tried, but I know that I am growing from all of it. I am so grateful for all that I am learning. This church is so true!! Bah! Sometimes I can't handle how true it is. 

Well, I love you all! I am working hard. I want to make my Heavenly Father and Savior proud and show them how much I love them. Thank you for all of your prayers! I have been sleeping better and it has been great. This gospel is true. Even if crazy things happen and I want to give up, I know that there is no better work that I would rather be doing at this time. I love it. You are all amazing!!

UPDATE: Sister Farr and Sister Corbridge were able to speak with their Mission President and file a police report. Because the car had taken it's license plates off, they were only able to give a description. President Porter instructed that they no longer run outside, but instead exercise inside. Sister Farr is doing well, but is understandably shooken up from the incident. Please keep her in your prayers.
